from walking door to door to hosting fundraising events and making phone calls.

Here are some ways you can help:

HOST A

HOUSE PARTY

The Old Bridge Republican Party encourages Republicans throughout the town to organize in their Districts. One way to organize is to hold a house party.

Make It Fun

Being a Republican is fun! Provide a social lively atmosphere with food and drink. Also, have some bumper stickers, buttons, prizes and yard signs to give to your guests. Food, drink and fun are always a hit!

Follow Up

After the event, contact all the people who signed in. Ask for advice on how to improve the next house party and how to reach more people. Tell everyone to BRING ONE PERSON to get more people involved at the next event. Build a list-serve to notify people of future events and opportunities to volunteer.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Usually, a new volunteer will be tasked with mundane, boring work, such as filling up balloons and stuffing envelopes. Although these activities seem trivial and boring, they are the backbone on which campaigns are won and lost. It is the responsibility of these volunteers to get the word out about their candidate. The more balloons that are inflated, the more envelopes that are sent to citizens, the more exposure the political candidate receives. Another way to get the word out is door-to-door canvassing.

In an exciting election year like this one there are many opportunities for you to help Anita and Debbie in achieving their goals, and helping this great country down the path of success.
